Virtual Classroom classes are not restricted to Virginia. Check with instructor to see if your state accepts virtual classroom courses. (Instructor is not certified for South Carolina.)

2-Day Classroom information (in person or virtual)
Precourse:
- Completion of Calculations Worksheet
- Complete Equipment and chemical work sheet and text picture of your equipment and chemical labels.
- Copy of your Health Code
- Completion of Health Code Worksheet if needed
Course Materials:
In person Classroom, received as class starts
Virtual Classroom, shipped to Candidate
- PHTA Pool & Spa Operator™
- HandbookPool Math™ Workbook
- Candidate's Notebook
Day 1:
- Must be present during all presentations
- Present Diver's Liscence or Government ID.
- Use a calculator that is not your cell phone.
- Working Lunch
Day 2 Practice, Review and Exam:
- Practical on your fill water (virtual)
- 1 hour covering state health codes
- Review of calculation problems
- Review of information for exam
- Exam- Open book, passing with 75% to earn certification
Upon passing exam, Candidates will receive CPO® Certification from PTHA.
In person 2- Day Classroom
Richmond Location (listed on website are Virtual Classroom until March).
Will be adding locations through out Virginia
March 2021 will announce location of Richmond Classroom.
